Harvey House Nursery-Willow is a 59-place setting which is a 4-minute walk from Leyton Midland Road Station. Willow has a bespoke soft play area with custom built indoor and outdoor facilities to enhance a home from home experience for all the children.


Your role as a Room Leader


As a room leader in our newly opened pre-toddler room, you'll take charge of creating and leading engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 12-24 months. You'll be responsible for ensuring their safety, tracking their progress and curriculum enhancement, all whist creating a nurturing and stimulating environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Provide the children with a safe, secure and home like environment
Take charge of creating and leading engaging and developmentally appropriate activities
Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and be confident to support staff to effectively deliver it
Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice
Monitor, update and maintain the paperwork needed in the room
A passion for helping children reach their full potential
Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team, and leading through positive role modelling and delivering best practise


What we are looking for:


Hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification or above
2 years' experience of working with children under the age of 2 years old
Be flexible, creative and have the commitment to provide first class childcare
Strong communication and organisational skills
Have good IT skills


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: 13.56-16.46 per hour


Expected hours: 40 per week
