Granta Medical Practices has been formed with the merger of five of the largest Practices in South Cambridgeshire; Sawston Medical Practice and Linton Health Centre, Barley Medical Practices, Shelford Medical Practices and Royston Health Centre. We provide medical services to 58,000 patients with a dedicated and enthusiastic team of clinicians and support staff.
Job Summary:
Clinical Rota scheduling as set out, but not limited to, Job Responsibilities. The role centres around the effective planning and oversight of the Nursing Teams across Granta's six sites. This role also includes the effective planning of our Extended Hours services.
Job responsibilities:
Responsible for Staff scheduling and Rota Application of Nursing Teams across Granta's six sites troubleshooting and problem solving areas of concern
Ensure all Nursing Study/Annual Leave requests are noted, as agreed by the Nurse Manager, and conflicts dealt with or reported back as appropriate
Schedule clinical staffing and apply rotas for Extended Access sessions ensuring weekly targets are met
Rota application for a number of support Staff/Teams ie: Social Navigators, First Contact Physiotherapy & Midwife Teams
Cancelling on the day appointments across all Clinical Teams reporting any staffing issues back to the Rota Co-ordinator/Duty Manager. Liaising with all sites regarding unexpected absences relating to that location
Clinical Room Bookings for Granta's 6 sites
To assist in day to day problem solving regarding any rota conflicts/issues that arise
Any other duties as requested by the Lead Rota Co-ordinator.
