This role is pivotal in ensuring that our team delivers high-quality service while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
Duties
Supervise daily counter operations, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and regulations.
Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimising waste.
Train and mentor staff on kitchen procedures, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Implement upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and support to ensure a cohesive team environment.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience in a deli or rotisserie counter .
Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Proficient in basic math's for inventory management and cash handling.
Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
Experience in upselling products or services is advantageous.
A passion for food and customer service is crucial for success in this role.
