We are currently recruiting for a

Litigation Assistant

to join our

RTA - Credit Hire & PI team

in our Liverpool office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.

The Legal Assistant will provide support to Solicitors. The role will involve performing important administrative and clerical duties, which in turn will increase your knowledge and understanding of the claim process, as well as legal knowledge on the whole.

You will be expected to be able to work well as part of a fast-paced team, whilst also being able to perform tasks independently and at the same time, maintaining a good attention to detail and using initiative, as and when required.

Responsibilities to include:



Speak with clients regularly, providing updates and answering their questions to assist case handlers.

Act as a liaison between clients and the legal team, gathering necessary information or clarifications to help move the case forward.

Under the guidance of case handlers, you will prepare and draft various legal documents. This may include letters, forms, contracts, or other legal paperwork related to the case.

Assist case handlers in gathering and organizing the required documentation and information for the progression of cases.

Help ensure that all necessary evidence and materials are available for hearings, negotiations, or further legal processes.

Review and prepare legal documents, ensuring sensitive information is redacted or handled appropriately.

You may be required to proofread, edit, or format documents to meet legal standards and confidentiality requirements.

Verify the accuracy of information provided by clients or other sources to ensure the integrity of the case documentation.

This may involve cross-referencing details, confirming facts, or contacting relevant parties for confirmation.

Accurately perform assigned tasks based on instructions from case handlers or solicitors.

Ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high attention to detail.

Organize and ready materials needed for ongoing case progression, ensuring that all documents, evidence, and case files are in order.

Help prepare files for submission to courts or other legal entities.

Manage and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems, ensuring that case documents are well-organized, up-to-date, and accessible.

This includes ensuring that documents are easily retrievable and correctly filed for legal compliance.

Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, answering phone calls, and other general office tasks that facilitate the smooth operation of the team.
