Rural Community Carers - Full-Time & Part-Time (Mid Devon)



Locations:

Cullompton, Culmstock, Uffculme, Tiverton & Surrounding Villages

Salary:

26,000 per year (based on 37.5 hours/week, pro rata for part-time)

Contract Type:

Full-Time Contracted or Flexible Part-Time Hours

We're proud to serve the villages and hamlets of Mid Devon, where neighbours know each other by name and every visit makes a real difference. As a Rural Community Carer, you'll be out and about--bringing warmth, dignity, and support to those who need it most.

Whether it's a morning drive through Culmstock's rolling hills or an evening visit to a cottage near Uffculme, you'll be part of a team that values connection, kindness, and countryside living.

A Role That Moves With You



We offer flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle:

Full-Time:

37.5 hours/week across 5 days

Part-Time:

Choose hours that work for you

Alternate weekends included


Shift Options:



Morning: 07:00 - 14:00 Midday: 10:00 - 16:00 Evening: 16:00 - 22:00
We ask for a minimum of 3 morning or evening shifts per week, and you can pick up extra hours through our Click to Care app. We'll tailor your rota to fit your life--while ensuring clients receive consistent, quality care.

What You'll Do



As a rural carer, you'll be a lifeline for clients who may not see anyone else that day. Your visits will include:

Personal care that promotes independence Preparing meals and supporting hydration Medication prompts or administration Light household tasks (laundry, tidying, fresh bedding) Safe mobility and movement assistance Friendly conversation, reassurance, and companionship Simple care recording via our mobile app
You'll be the friendly face clients look forward to--and the reason they feel safe and supported in their own homes.

What You'll Need



Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle Confidence driving in rural areas and country lanes The right to work in the UK (we're unable to offer sponsorship) A caring nature and a commitment to quality care Basic smartphone confidence--we'll guide you if needed
