Are you ready to make an impact at one of Londons leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for 5 skilled Safeguarding Officers to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About the Role
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis.
The Safeguarding Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of learners within the college. The role involves providing specialist advice, support, and guidance on safeguarding matters, managing safeguarding concerns, and ensuring that appropriate interventions and support mechanisms are in place for learners facing vulnerabilities. The Officer will be the first point of contact for learners and will work closely with both internal staff and external agencies to safeguard the welfare of learners.

  • Good understanding of trauma-informed care and supporting vulnerable individuals
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Experience of managing safeguarding cases, referrals, and multi-agency collaboration
