The Role

We are a county-wide special school that offers a nurturing environment for pupils aged 10 -16 with ASD, communication and interaction difficulties and associated Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. Our approach is "Reducing barriers to expand horizons" and we strongly believe that all our pupils have the potential to be successful and work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to achieve this.

We are looking for:

Woodeaton Manor School is a truly special place to work. Set in beautiful, historic grounds just outside Oxford, our school provides a calm, nurturing environment where pupils are supported to flourish. Every day is an opportunity to be inspired by our remarkable pupils, whose resilience, individuality and creativity make our community so rewarding.

This post will suit an experienced safeguarding lead, home-school link worker, or someone with a strong pastoral or social care background who is ready to step into senior school leadership. You will also line manage our newly created Safeguarding and Attendance Officer, ensuring capacity to deliver on this crucial area of our school's work.

At Woodeaton, you will find not just a job, but the opportunity to contribute to something meaningful, helping our pupils grow in confidence, achieve their potential, and thrive both in school and beyond.
