The Role
We are seeking a motivated individual looking to build a long-term career in fire safety and DSEAR. This is a development role, offering structured support, mentoring, and hands-on experience to progress into a fully-fledged Safety & Compliance Consultant.
The role is predominantly site-based and involves regular travel to client premises across the UK, working alongside experienced consultants across a wide range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities (as you develop)
Fire risk assessment technician duties, including site inspections
Carrying out site inspections across industrial and commercial premises, with the opportunity to receive training to undertake Legionella, COSHH, PUWER, HAVS and Noise assessments following full training
Liaising professionally with clients on site
Assisting with technical report writing and compliance documentation
Developing a strong working knowledge of relevant health, safety, fire, and DSEAR legislation, standards, and guidance
Essential Requirements
NEBOSH qualification (General Certificate as a minimum)
Some practical experience in the health & safety field
A genuine interest in fire safety and DSEAR, with the ambition to build a long-term career in the sector
Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable (but not essential)
Exposure to fire risk assessments, hazardous substances, or DSEAR
Technical or engineering background
Membership of a relevant professional body (or working towards one)

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, and have access to their own vehicle, as regular travel to client sites is an essential part of the role.

Pay: 34,000.00-35,000.00 per year
