As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. The Safety Maintainer is responsible for ensuring all equipment, systems and work areas operate safely and comply with health and safety regulations.

How you create impact

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies Maintain accruate maintenance and safety records and documentation Promote safe working practices and support a positive safety culture Carry out servicing work and reports as required in accordance with the relevant legislative requirements for the inspection and maintenance of life and limb equipment Ensure the supervisor is made aware of spares requirements Ensure individual production targets are met Participate in audits, safety briefings, and continuous improvement activities Respond promptly to safety-related faults or emergencies

What we would like you to bring

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accruate record keeping Basic IT skills for reporting, logging and compliance systems Ability to adapt to change Clear communication skills and confidence to challenge unsafe practices UK Driving licence preferred Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, standards, and safe systems of work
