Job Description

Kingfisher Family Practice are looking for a 4 to 8 session GP to join our team.
The position is salaried with the potential to become a partner in the future and is part of our succession plan.
Kingfisher Family Practice is situated in North Nottinghamshire and serves a semi-rural population. There are great transport links with easy access to the A1 and national rail networks. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and open spaces. There are a number of good schools and lovely villages for anyone wishing to relocate.
We have recently switched to the safe working rota pattern with 15-minute appointment slots and have a wide and varied team of clinicians supporting the GP's.
We are a GMS practice who provide services including, minor ops, contraception and extended access. The role would involve working some early and late sessions as part of our contract. We rotate the early and late shifts along with the duty GP shifts and aim to allow all colleagues a good life work balance.
We are a forward-thinking training practice with over 15500 patients. Currently the team consists of 9 GP partners and two salaried GP's. We also have 2 Registrars on rotation. Our Clinical Support Team is made up of a team of 34 individuals directly employed by the practice and 10 employed by the PCN to work within our practice.
We work collaboratively with 4 other local practices as a member of Retford and Villages PCN.
The management team are currently focused on the wellbeing of the team and providing the best possible quality of care to patients.
We have been rated Good by the CQC and continue to strive to improve and innovate.

• Must be a qualified GP registered with the GMC
• Experience of working in General Practice
