As we continue to grow our business and in order to expand across Northern Ireland and other geographies, we are seeking a
Sales, Account & Business Development Manager
to take lead in identifying and setting up new branches, driving fresh revenue opportunities, growing the client base and strengthening our presence in the local and international tourism markets.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded professional to shape and implement Ashfield B&B's sales and growth strategy.You'll manage existing accounts/set ups, identify new opportunities/ business partnerships and collaborate closely with the owner to achieve ambitious revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a proactive
sales and business development strategy
aligned with company goals.
Identify opportunities for expansion of the business within Belfast, Scotland, Ireland and India.Create proposals, contracts and negotiate terms with new partners.
Identify properties/opportunities, set up new business, co-ordinate with the local authority approvals, ensure compliances and execute all tasks necessary to run the bed and breakfast business in the new locations.
Identify and secure
new business opportunities
-- including corporate, leisure, and group bookings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with
travel agents, tour operators, and online booking partners
(e.g. Booking.com, Expedia).
Conduct
market analysis
to inform pricing, promotions and competitive positioning.
Acting as the lead liaison for external business development and ensuring Ashfield stays competitive in its market.
Prepare and negotiate
proposals and contracts
with clients and partners.
Collaborate on marketing initiatives and contribute ideas for
digital campaigns and social media visibility
.
Attend
tourism events and trade shows
to promote Ashfield B&B.
Establish sales targets and budgets; monitor performance monthly, quarterly and annually.
Monitor sales KPIs -- occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, Customer satisfaction scores -- and prepare performance reports for management.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2
-5 years' experience
in Hotel/bed and breakfast industry in operations, sales, account management or business development, preferably within hospitality, travel or tourism.
Keen knowledge of hotel/bed and breakfast business/customer needs and satisfaction measures.
Proven track record in
meeting and exceeding sales targets
.
Excellent
communication, negotiation and presentation
skills.
Proficiency with
CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and online booking platforms
.
Strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen.
Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently.
Familiarity with the
Northern Ireland, Scotland, Ireland and India tourism and hospitality market
is an advantage.
