Aquamarine Chemicals is the main brand for Bayer-wood Technologies Ltd. We supply an extensive range of products to some of the biggest commercial shipping names and ship owners in the marine industry. We are looking immediately for a well organised multi-tasker to join our small team on a permanent basis at our offices in Twyning. You will be handling sales enquiries via email and phone, raising quotes, orders and guiding customers through the order process. Export paperwork is sometimes required. This is a busy role requiring great administrative skills, time management and attention to detail. Timely delivery scheduling of goods is a key aspect to the job. The successful candidate will be office based 5 days a week.
Summary
We are seeking an Administration Manager to join our team at Bayer-Wood Technologies Limited. This pivotal role, based in Great Britain, involves overseeing administrative functions, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of service. There would be further managerial opportunities for the aspiring individual.
Responsibilities include:
Answering sales and enquiry calls
Qualifying new enquiries and sending quotes as required.
Creating quotes and processing orders invoicing within the Sage 50 system and via phone and email. SAGE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED updating system and utilising it to its potential.
Placing/scheduling, monitoring purchase orders
Monitoring the production pipeline and flagging and potential issues
General office admin management and onward management of orders until dispatched.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative management role or similar position.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in English
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
The ideal candidate will offer the following:
