accurately inputting sales and purchase orders;
helping to ensure that designated customer delivery plans plus relevant health and safety information is recorded and up to date;
filing and generally carrying out the normal admin activities associated with the running of a busy sales department;
Receiving and accurately recording customer enquiries by telephone, fax, email or in person.
Checking customer credit worthiness and updating Management of any issues.
Accurate preparation and timely despatch of quotations.
Accurate inputting of orders into the system in-line with business policies.
Co-ordinating with other departments to ensure customer orders are delivered in full and on time.
To ensure designated customer delivery plans and relevant Health and Safety information is recorded an up to date.
Investigating customer complaints and taking the relevant actions to maintain customer satisfaction.
Skills Required
Essential Skills and Requirements:

Experience of working within a steel stockholding / construction industry (desirable).
Strong numerical and communication skills.
IT literate.
