We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Major Areas of Responsibility:
Serving as the main point of contact for Sales Team
Managing phone calls, emails and other correspondence
Scheduling meetings, client/customer appointments and travel arrangements
Basic Order Processing & taking payments
Updating and maintaining office records, filing systems and databases
Ordering office supplies and managing inventory
Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams
Attend meetings and training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills in parallel with existing training resources and sources of information
Creating and maintaining a well-organised, efficient office environment
Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with CRM software such as Sage or similar platforms
Strong administrative experience with excellent organisational skills
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrated computer literacy and IT skills relevant to sales administration tasks
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently with good time management skills
Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
Previous experience within a Sales Admin role is desirable
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Drivers Licence
Your desk will be at the heart of our open plan Customer service sales office. Based at our premises in Chesterfield, you will join our established teams who will be on hand to provide help and support as you start and learn the role. You will be able to draw on many resources to deliver the tasks required. This is a full time, Permanent role, (subject to agreement). Standard hours 40hrs per week, some attendance at events and exhibitions will require flexibility including some weekends.
