Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our sales operations, ensuring smooth communication between departments and clients, and maintaining accurate records. Duties
Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) software to track sales activities and client information
Assist with the processing of sales orders and quotations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, processing repeat orders, and maintaining documentation using Microsoft Word and Outlook
Liaise with clients via email and phone to provide exceptional customer service and respond to enquiries promptly
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and delivery schedules
Maintain organised filing systems for sales records, contracts, and correspondence
Monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers as necessary
Covering illness/holidays in the despatch department.
Experience
Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Sage) is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrable computer literacy and IT skills
Previous experience with sales processes or customer service is advantageous
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good time management skills
