The Role:



Sales Administrator

This is an office-based role with potential to develop into an account management role.

The position is based at the company's premises at Shaw Cross, Dewsbury.

Responsibilities:



To support the company's sales team with all aspects of sales and supply

Dealing with key customers, in providing quotations, dealing with enquiries and reporting.

Taking information from sales team, interpreting and communicating to suppliers and internal staff

Providing sales team with information on products, pricing, stock levels and logistics

Processing of sales orders, purchase orders and invoices on the Sage 200 computer system

General assistance to Joalpe staff on site, as required.

Relationships:



Working with existing company staff in sales and distribution

Liaising with suppliers to organise supply requirements

Liaising with customer contacts - including blue-chip companies - in support of the sales team

Skills required:



Good standard of numeracy and literacy

Computer literate (MS Excel. Word, PowerPoint)

Commercial awareness

Confident in dealing with a range of contacts

Confident telephone manner

Speed in responding to arising customer issues

Thorough, accurate and organized with attention to detail

Experience required:



Experience of working in a pressured environment

Experience of dealing with demanding customers

Driving license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00 per year
