Sales Administrator
to join our team and provide essential support to our Sales department in Edinburgh and across the business. This office based role is five days a week totaling 37.5 hours. This is a varied and fast-paced role that also includes a variety of cross- department administration tasks out with the main Sales Administrator role.

Scot JCB has been supplying and servicing JCB machinery throughout Scotland and the North of England for over 60 years. We sold our first machine in 1956 and have grown into a highly specialised machinery distribution company operating through a network of 15 depots from Fraserburgh in the North East of Scotland to Carnforth in Lancashire. Scot JCB is the largest JCB distributor in the UK and we pride ourselves on providing our customers with world class service.
This role involves:
Supporting the Sales team with enquiries and admin
Ordering machinery for customers and from JCB
Processing purchase invoices
Creating job cards for new and used machinery for both sales and service departments
Organising transport for machinery deliveries and collections
Invoicing new and used machinery accurately and promptly
Logging machine movements both internally and externally using our systems
Processing road tax for machines and completing HPI checks
Assisting the Sales Admin Supervisor with various tasks
Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in an administration role (ideally in plant, automotive, or similar industry)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident with IT systems and quick to learn new software
Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy, fast-moving environment
Strong understanding of the importance of great customer service
A flexible, positive, and team-oriented approach
Friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude
