Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small dynamic team of Sales Administrators here at

Huddersfield Fine Worsteds

the UK's premier fabric merchant.

The role will involve working with our worldwide customer base consisting of the world's finest tailors and biggest designer fashion brands. Day to day you will be processing sales orders received by email and telephone, professionally addressing customer inquiries and maintaining & developing customer accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a history of experience within a similar or comparable administrative role although full training will be provided. You will have great attention to detail and the ability to work independently managing your own work load while assisting and collaborating with colleagues as and when required.

As you will be working with an international customer base as well as working alongside and collaborating with a small busy team of colleagues confident friendly verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are a must. You should be confident with IT using our in house sales system and standard programmes such as Excel and also possess a good proficiency for numeracy and literacy.

The role will also involve cover for our shipping manager booking and monitoring courier shipments during holidays for this aspect of the role you will need to show the same attention to detail working on your own in a quick and methodical manner. Full and thorough training for this aspect of the position will be provided.
