Hillington Timber & Doors Ltd are an independent Timber Merchant supplying timber and joinery products to both trade and retail customers. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate is required to possess the skills to communicate with our customers in an efficient and professional manner, with the aim of enhancing many of the long term trading relationships that we already share with our customers. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in administrative tasks, and the ability to manage and prioritise your daily schedule.
Candidate must be available to work Saturday mornings on a rota basis, which is paid at an overtime rate.

Duties
Ability to manage and prioritise customer enquiries which are received via email , telephone and in-person in our Hillington showroom.
Processing sales orders and customer quotations.
Communicate effectively with customers to provide required information.
Forming a relationship with suppliers, sourcing materials for both stock and customer orders.
A good telephone manner is vital, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and suppliers.
Contribute to the development of sales strategies by providing insights based on customer feedback.
Qualifications
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in sales administration or a similar role within a timber / builders merchant is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
