The Sales Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales / production team by managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various software applications and possess a solid understanding of sales administration processes.
Duties
Provide administrative support to the sales / production team, including managing schedules and coordinating jobs.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Assist in processing sales orders and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance client relationships.
Work alongside production, to ensure seamless operations within the sales process.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks efficiently.
Maintain an organised filing system for all sales documentation and correspondence.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Familiarity with Sage or other accounting software is advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Excellent computer skills with a high level of computer literacy.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
