Sales Administrator

Leeds, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Job Introduction

Love keeping things organised and making sure everything runs smoothly? We're looking for someone to join our brilliant Space Homes Sales team on a fixed term contract as a

Sales Administrator.

You'll be the backbone of our operations - handling everything from customer records and data management to liaising with solicitors and estate agents. You'll be supporting our customers through one of life's biggest milestones, helping ensure their homebuying journey is smooth, professional and stress-free. All while working in a team that's proud to make things happen.

We believe work's something you do, not somewhere you go. So if you're after flexibility and want to feel truly valued, this could be the role for you.

What we're all about

You can probably already tell that we're not your typical housing provider! With around 20,000 homes (and more in the pipeline), we're on track with our growth plan to build 8,000 new homes across Yorkshire.

You'll be joining Yorkshire Housing's very own sales brand, Space Homes - a creative and driven team with a strong commercial focus. They're all about making the most of every opportunity, whether it's selling new builds or existing homes for Market Sale or Shared Ownership. The income they generate goes straight back into Yorkshire Housing, helping us invest in our homes, services and communities.

For a lot of our customers, you'll be their first impression of Yorkshire Housing and Space Homes. You need to be confident taking phone calls and enthusiastic about sales!

What will you be doing?

As a Sales Administrator, you'll be the go-to person for all things admin- managing customer records, coordinating with solicitors and estate agents, and making sure everything is in place to support a seamless sales process. You'll also be there for our customers after they've moved in, helping them settle into their new home and resolving any early issues with care and professionalism.

Organisation is key, so you'll be creating electronic files and folders, coordinating stock property management, pre-completion cleans and snagging repairs - which all contribute to meeting our sales targets, of course.

You'll also:

Support sales progression to help meet exchange and completion targets. Respond to customer queries by phone, email or in person, always delivering excellent service. Help monitor and report on key data to keep things on track. Be assisting customers with the shared ownership applications.

The Sales team meet in Leeds, West Yorkshire around once a week so being able to travel to see them in person is also worth noting! There will also be times where you'll need to travel across Yorkshire to different development sites.

Already feel this is the role for you? There's much more useful information you can read in the Role Profile!

What we're looking for

We're after someone who's super organised, great with people and confident juggling lots of moving parts. If you've got experience in property sales or a similar admin-heavy role, even better!

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

You're methodical and accurate, with a good eye for detail and a knack for keeping things tidy and on track. You're flexible and happy to adapt when things change--because they often do! You're confident working to targets and sticking to processes, but you also know how to get things done. You're a clear communicator who's comfortable dealing with colleagues, customers and external partners. You've got solid IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel is a must).

What's in it for you...
