We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales department through efficient administration, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. This position for the right candidate will offer significant progression within one year to sales executive and within three years Business Development Manager.
Duties
Manage and update customer information using CRM software to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Prepare sales reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Assist with the processing of sales orders, quotations, and invoices in Sage or relevant accounting software.
Coordinate communication between sales teams and clients to facilitate timely responses and follow-ups.
Organise meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team.
Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, client interactions, and administrative documentation.
Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries promptly via email or phone.
Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes to enhance efficiency.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
Experience with CRM software and Sage is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Demonstrable administrative experience within a sales environment or similar role.
Computer literacy across various platforms and IT systems.
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively whilst managing multiple deadlines.
Customer service orientation with a professional approach to client interactions.
