Hours: Monday to Friday 8:15am- 5pm with a 12:30pm finish on a Friday
Taskmaster are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading manufacturing company who have been established over 100 years and employing over 600 staff. Our client design and manufacture products in their state-of-the-art facilities based in Nelson. They utilise the most technologically advanced software during the design process, complimented with the finest raw materials to create bespoke and innovative products.
Our client are seeking an experienced Administrator to join the team on a 12 week temporary basis, with the view to becoming permanent. The successful applicant will manage the administrative role of the sales/service ordering process.
Roles and responsibilities;
Acting as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email
Continual monitoring and updating of lead times and stock
Attending client meetings both on and off site, minute taking and ensuring action points are followed through
Ordering product samples from suppliers
Arranging collection and delivery of goods
Updating commercial marketing collateral such as; spec sheets, images and prices for internal use and for Sales Representatives to use
Updating product price lists bi-annually
Attending and participating in trade shows
Preparing and replenishing stock for 'Show Vans' ahead of trade shows
The ideal candidate will;
To manage the administrative role of sales/service ordering process.
Must have an excellent telephone manner to be able to communicate with sales accounts on a day-to-day basis
Good computer skills are required to input data on to an in-house computer system.
Administration skills are essential to enabling you to manage your workload effectively, maintaining good time management.
Able to cope well under pressure and be assertive when making decisions with regards sales queries.
Previous experience in a Service/Administrative role is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
