About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join our growing team in our new Nottingham office. This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day office operations while contributing to customer service and marketing activities.
You'll be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, supporting the sales team with order management, lead generation, and administrative tasks that keep the business running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily office administration, including emails, calls, filing, and documentation
Handle customer queries, follow up on orders and deliveries, and book incoming shipments
Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and customers to ensure timely order processing and fulfilment.
Maintain and update customer and supplier databases and sales records
Support sales prospecting by researching and contacting potential B2B clients.
Assist with the preparation of sales materials, quotations, and order forms
Coordinate and track marketing activities including email campaigns, product catalogues, and social media updates
Work closely with the management and sales team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Provide general administrative support to directors and the sales team as needed
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in office administration or sales support
Strong communication skills, professional phone manner and clear written style
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Comfortable handling customer service and supplier communication professionally
Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced SME environment
Desirable
Experience using CRM or prospecting tools
Familiarity with the wholesale, distribution, or food service sector
Experience assisting with basic marketing or social media content

Package & Details
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
