Job Description

The tasks of a Sales Administrator are:



a) Answering email/phone/website enquiries, including new business requests, and communicating with the relevant team member.

b) Ensure all sales enquiries are data captured.

c) Gather market and customer information.

d) Providing customer quotes and product samples.

e) Answering customer queries and resolving internally.

f) Provide report breakdowns from Sanderson.

g) Complete induction training for new starters within the team on Sanderson and other relevant systems.

h) Co-ordinate sales team travel requirements.

i) Provide admin support for trade show events.

j) Complete sales administration for customers, including new line forms, account setup, and customer questionnaires.

k) Liaise with technical, specification and logistics teams on any queries and documentation requirements, including PIFs, QAS, and PODs completion.

l) Support account managers providing necessary documentation to ensure legal and financial compliance.

d) Interact with fellow employees in a civil manner.

e) To carry out procedures which safeguard themselves and the health and safety of other staff.

f) To record all required information on relevant documentation.

g) To abide by the company rules and conditions relating to timekeeping, break times, absenteeism, illness, holiday leave, etc.

The Sales Administrator is accountable to the Sales Director; when absent from work, cover will be provided by a designated member of staff.
