Calon Associates Limited is a forward-thinking technology company based in Manor Park, Runcorn. Specialising in the development and distribution of advanced control solutions for lighting and retail applications, we offer cutting-edge products under our own brand as well as distribute and support the innovative building control solutions from Loytec electronics GmbH (Austria).

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a significant impact in a fast-growing company while contributing to the ongoing success of our sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Enquiries:

Take ownership of incoming customer inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments or responding directly to customers to meet their needs.

Sales Quotations:

Prepare accurate sales quotations for customers, following established guidelines and ensuring follow-up to close orders.

Sales Order Administration:

Input customer sales orders, allocate stock, and liaise with Operations Management and suppliers to ensure timely product availability.

Order Fulfilment:

Assemble, pack, and ship customer orders efficiently, ensuring orders are processed accurately. This may involve some technical configuration of equipment before dispatch.

Customer Communications:

Maintain regular communication with key customers to keep them informed of relevant products and services, as well as gather valuable insights into their needs.

Required Qualifications & Experience:



Academic Qualifications:

A-level standard (or equivalent).

Experience:

Previous experience in sales administration, technical support, or a related field is preferred, ideally within a technology-focused company.

Strong ambition with a desire to grow within the company

Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines

Professional and clear telephone manner

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks

Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

Competent with computer systems, business tools, and web technologies

Persistent yet polite, with strong communication skills for engaging with customers and suppliers

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
