Job Overview
We are looking for an organised and proactive
Sales Administrator
to support our sales office and ensure smooth, efficient order processing. The ideal candidate will be confident working with customers, managing paperwork, and coordinating information between our sales and production teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Process customer orders, quotes, and enquiries promptly and accurately
Prepare and issue sales documents including order confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices
Maintain up-to-date customer records and job information in our CRM/system
Communicate with customers regarding lead times, product details, and order status
Liaise with the production team to ensure jobs run on schedule
Completing and inputting data and information on Doors, Windows, Frames and all other joinery items into our quoting and manufacturing software
Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, data entry, and reporting
Handle incoming calls and email enquiries in a professional manner
Provide general office support as required
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
Desirable:
Experience in construction, manufacturing, joinery, or similar industry
Familiarity with CRM or order-processing software
Basic understanding of sales processes
