Role Overview
The Employment Group is seeking a highly organised and commercially minded
Sales Administrator
to support our Sales Director and wider sales function. This role plays a key part in ensuring our sales pipeline is well-researched, accurately documented, and professionally managed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, grading, and maintaining cold lead data aligned to our
Ideal Client Profile (ICP)
, alongside providing comprehensive sales and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Data & Lead Resourcing
Source and research cold lead data in line with defined
Ideal Client Profiles (ICP)
Compile and maintain accurate
Client Characteristics Sheets
for all leads
Ensure all required lead data is complete, accurate, and GDPR compliant
Complete
lead grading exercises
based on ICP criteria to prioritise sales activity
Maintain and update CRM systems with structured and accurate sales data
Sales & General Administration
Arrange meetings and manage diaries for the
Sales Director
, including confirmations and follow-ups
Compile professional sales presentations and supporting documentation
Prepare and issue
new rates
and
Terms of Business
for prospective and existing clients
Complete
account application forms
accurately and in a timely manner
Obtain and record relevant
Health & Safety contact details
for new client accounts
Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date notes on all
client CRM records
Support sales activity through reporting, tracking documents, and general administrative tasks
Liaise with internal teams to ensure sales and compliance processes are completed efficiently
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in administration, sales support, or a similar role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident working with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable:
Experience within recruitment, staffing, or B2B sales environments
Understanding of ICP-led sales or lead generation strategies
Awareness of GDPR and basic compliance requirements
