We are looking for a highly organised and confident Sales Administrator to join our team at our Stoke Mandeville depot. This is a key role at the centre of our sales activity, supporting our Area Sales Managers and acting as the first point of contact for new enquiries.
You'll be responsible for handling incoming calls and emails, qualifying enquiries, managing leads and supporting the sales process from first contact through to quotation stage. You'll also help to create new sales opportunities within the construction, landscaping and design sectors.
This is a busy, fast-moving role suited to someone who is proactive, great on the phone, and enjoys building relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and manage all incoming sales calls, assessing enquiries and directing or escalating when required
Respond to inbound sales emails and allocate non-sales communication to the relevant team member
Qualify and manage new sales enquiries, establishing the customer's needs before referring to an Area Sales Manager where appropriate
Create and maintain leads and contacts in our CRM system
Generate new business leads within the building, landscaping and architectural sectors
Support Area Sales Managers with quotations, client follow-ups, sample requests and literature
Collate documents and information for tender and bid submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Track open opportunities and ensure follow-up actions are completed
Maintain organised electronic records, files and documentation
About You:
Extremely well organised, with excellent attention to detail
Confident and clear communicator, especially on the phone
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and prioritising workload
Positive, professional and proactive in approach
Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
Strong IT skills (email, MS Office essential; CRM experience ideal)
