, a specialist supplier in roof windows and daylight solutions. This exciting growth has prompted the creation of a new

Sales Advisor (Level 1)

role within our team to support sales growth across both of our websites.

As

Sales Advisor/Order Processor

, you will be the first point of contact for our trade and consumer customers, providing exceptional service across both the

JJ Roofing Supplies

and

Sterlingbuild

brands. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless customer experience, from handling inbound sales calls and email enquiries to managing live chat interactions. This role is a great fit for a person of integrity, with great business acumen, excellent attention to details and highly developed problem solving skills.

You will be responsible for processing the website orders, quickly addressing customer sales inquiries via phone/email/live chat, and providing a

one-call resolution

whenever possible.

As this is a

Level 1

position, there are future opportunities for career progression into roles such as

Product Specialist

,

Customer Care Specialist

, or

Business Development

as you gain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support:

Be the first point of contact for customer technical inquiries, ensuring fast, efficient, and professional service via phone, email, and live chat. Resolve all issues presented in a timely fashion.

Sales Orders & Enquiries:

Process website purchases. Take sales orders and provide information on products, services, and promotions. Resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Escalation:

Identify when an inquiry requires specialist knowledge and escalate to the relevant team members (Product Specialists or Customer Care Specialists) for resolution.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the customer service and logistics team, to ensure consistent service delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Data Entry & CRM:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and orders within our CRM system.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up to date with product knowledge and company updates. Provide feedback to management on customer trends or service challenges.

Qualifications:

Sales, admin or customer service experience, preferably in construction.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Tech-savvy with e-commerce platform experience.

Knowledge of roofing materials a plus.

Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
