We're a global company and this role has opportunity for travel. You'll be visiting and working with prospective and established clients across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). However, we appreciate you won't always want to be out and about seeing the world and we anticipate a pleasant split of around 30% travel and 70% office.
This role is an autonomous remote role, however hybrid working is also available from our sister company offices in Nottingham, Darlington, or London.
Our salaries are competitive, our advertised salary is a guide and will depend upon your experience level. In addition you can expect a commission structure allowing you to benefit from a percentage of sales generated.

What you will be doing in the role
You'll drive both new business sales and generate increased revenue from existing clients too. You'll take ownership for making our clients feel heard, valued and well served.
As well as actively seeking out and acting on leads for new business, you'll also take responsibility for delivering exceptional account management and will act as the main point of contact for THOR Poletest EMEA customers.
This is an autonomous role, you'll be the sole person responsible for driving sales and meeting customer expectations from a UK base.
Whilst no two days are ever the same, you can expect to be involved in areas such as
Travelling to new and existing clients to build relationships and grow sales of THOR
Working to research and establish potential new opportunities
Guiding customers through the buying journey by asking appropriate questions, listening for and acting on buying signals and closing sales.
Meeting with clients in person to resolve issues, gain insights into satisfaction levels and establish potential buying opportunities
Taking ownership for all aspects of customer relations and effectively managing relationships to grow the THOR business
Who we are looking for
Ideally you will have have sold business to business within a technically focused sector. If you've sold within telecoms, utilities, energy, or similar, we'd love to hear from you.
We are open to meeting with experienced Account Managers that are looking for their first step into sales, or equally, experienced sales professionals seeking a new challenge. Our expectations are that this role will suit an individual that is technically minded and has a proven track record within business to business sales, or account management. Whatever the stage of your career, you will have the ability to work autonomously, be driven and motivated to succeed.
