Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Partnership Development & Growth
Proactively identify and engage schools, MATs, and early years providers through research, networking, and relationship-building.
Conduct strategic, consultative conversations with senior decision-makers to understand their workforce development priorities.
Present solutions that align with business objectives and demonstrate clear ROI.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and partnership targets.
Relationship Management & Account Development
Build and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels within partner organisations.
Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximise their apprenticeship levy and long-term workforce strategy.
Identify cross-selling opportunities into professional services, leadership, and management training.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure outstanding partner experience and learner outcomes.
Market Intelligence & Brand Representation
Keep up to date with apprenticeship funding developments, education trends, and sector challenges.
Represent Train Together at events, conferences, and local networking opportunities.
Share insights and success stories that showcase our relationship-led approach to learning.
Process & Pipeline Management
Manage your pipeline through HubSpot CRM, maintaining accurate data and forecasting.
Report on key metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, and satisfaction levels.
Person Specification
Essential
Proven success in sales, recruitment, or business development -- ideally in education, training, or apprenticeships.
Consultative approach with the ability to listen, understand, and deliver value-based solutions.
Strong relationship-building skills and business acumen.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline.
Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot experience desirable).
Full driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
Desirable:
Existing network within schools, MATs, or early years settings.
Knowledge of apprenticeships, levy management, and workforce development.
Understanding of the education or public sector environment.
