Guided by the needs of Electrophysiologists, the company has pioneered innovative technological advancements ranging from the first deflectable tip catheter to today's most sophisticated three-dimensional cardiac mapping and navigation systems. They are a key growth driver for the business operating in a fast growing and rapidly developing Electrophysiology marketplace. Purpose of the role



Plans, develops, and directs all Sales and clinical activity for the Electrophysiology business in GB based on sales/profitability and other goals and objectives established in conjunction with the General Manager to deliver capital efficient profitable growth.


Formulates and communicates overall Sales objectives, clinical plans, policies, and strategies for the geography in alignment with local, regional and global direction, driving local execution.


Leads commercial strategy for Electrophysiology in GB and helps formulate overall EP national strategy.


Strong collaboration with the Marketing Lead to set the Marketing strategy for the Platforms in the UK in alignment with regional and global direction.


Deliver Financial commitments for Electrophysiology UK which will be Sales, OPEX, CAPEX, SRNIBT and SGP


What to expect:



Full Sales & Profit (P&L) responsibility for the geography and platform


8 direct reports consisting of 6 RSM's and 2 Clinical Development Managers


Deliver the sales and platform strategy(s) ensuring that the delivery of plans brings capital efficient profitable growth in excess of the marketplace and competition


Sets sales and clinical objectives and ensure strong alignment between the RSM commercial plans in line with Clinical Development Manager clinical plans


Ensures that clinical development plans led by CDM's for all Trainee Technical Specialists, Technical Specialists and Sr Technical Specialists are in line with the RSM commercial and clinical needs


In conjunction with the Marketing Lead sets out the Plans to Win for the year and is accountable for the execution of these plans with flawless clinical execution for all External Evaluations, Limited Market Releases and Full Market Product Release.


Sets the SFE strategy for the business and is accountable for the execution of this plan


Equip and drive a high performing team "to win" through rigorous selection, training, process, incentive schemes and personal development programs


Develop and implement the EP Commercial framework and review process with CommEx and CBM teams with a focus on flawless contract mgmt execution and commercialisation of capital


Strong collaboration with Cardiovascular Solutions Architect to ensure strong execution of S&S projects and Rapid AF Clinics


Planning and budgeting with Supply Chain and Finance, FOL and GUMP


Continuously build and develop the Extended Leadership Team and leadership pipeline with high calibre individuals


Develop strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders


Represent the business at country level for the Platform in all Regional and Global forums


Deliver the Accelerate vision within the Electrophysiology team

Who are we looking for?



BS/BA/ MBA or advanced degree preferred


Experienced sales and marketing leader in Electrophysiology with a track record of delivering results versus target in challenging business environments within the last three years


Experience in healthcare industry, Electrophysiology markets preferred; demonstrated ability to understand the portfolio of products


Leadership experience leading Sales & Marketing Organisations with continuous & proven track record of success


Knowledge of the Electrophysiology and medical device environment


Extensive experience in the Health Care sector


Fully bilingual English / country language


Potential of 50% travel / evening working required, 1-2 nights per week away from home


Strong organizational leadership with a track record engaging large teams effectively and ability to create a Winning Culture
