Role Overview
We are looking for a confident, tech-savvy, and customer-focused
Sales and Technical Support Specialist
to join our growing team. This is a dual-role position, ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with technology, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication:
Engage directly with customers via phone, email, and live chat to understand and resolve their queries.
Technical Support:
Assist customers with setting up tracking devices and using our software platforms. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
Sales Assistance:
Guide customers through product options, explain features, and help close sales by providing accurate and helpful advice.
Onboarding Support:
Provide clear, step-by-step setup instructions and assist new users through their onboarding journey.
Problem Solving:
Diagnose issues methodically and work with our internal teams when needed to escalate more complex cases.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of support tickets, customer interactions, and technical issues for internal tracking and analysis.
Feedback Loop:
Relay recurring customer issues or feedback to the development and product teams for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Experience in a customer support, sales, or technical support role (1-3 years preferred)
Strong understanding of technology - ideally with hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Confident telephone manner and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset
Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language to non-technical users
A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Familiarity with CRM or support platforms (e.g., Monday.com.) is a plus
Knowledge or experience with GPS tracking systems or IoT hardware is desirable but not essential
