Our story began in Bakewell in the 1970's building summerhouses and swimming pools, then in 1986 we became pioneers within the holiday park sector when we designed a log cabin that complied with the definition of a mobile home/caravan. Many of these original lodges still exist today, a testament to the quality of our materials and craftsmanship. Still a family-owned company, Pinelog are embarking on the next exciting chapter, having recently moved to new premises in Chesterfield.

The Role



In this hybrid role we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic sales department professional to join our team. As the initial point of contact for enquiries, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and assist in managing the day-to-day organisation of the sales department.

Key responsibilities:

Sales department administration including maintaining and updating customer records. Respond to telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally. Supply customers with product information, brochures, and price lists. Assist in the preparation and production of data for sales reports. Provide customers with product and maintenance information and manage warranty enquiries. Undertake business development activities. Undertake customer sales visits and prepare quotations.

The Person



You will be a motivated and customer-focused individual. You thrive in a busy environment and are dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. As you will be liaising with our customers throughout the sales & specification process, creativity and an eye for detail would be advantageous. Whilst specific industry experience is not required, an applicable sales administration background is essential.

Key requirements:

Previous experience in a sales and administration role is essential. Business development experience an advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; experience with CRM systems is desirable. Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure. Positive outlook, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to tasks. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Willingness to support the development and implementation of new systems and processes. Enjoy working as part of a dedicated and supportive team. Flexible attitude with a willingness to adapt and embrace new tasks and challenges.
