Job Purpose:
The Sales Data Analyst plays a crucial role in gathering, developing, and analysing sales data to enhance decision-making processes within the business. This position serves as a critical tool to drive performance across sales teams by providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis of sales data.

Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Review and enhance the management reporting framework to ensure effectiveness.
  • Analyse sales data to derive insights and make suggestions for business improvement, while ensuring data integrity and cleanliness of CRM.
  • Support Group Sales Director and Group Managing Director in identifying trends and developing strategic initiatives based on sales data analysis.
  • Analyse sales financial results to improve sales financial performance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports on revenue and gross profit, including financial and non-financial data.
  • Provide analysis and commentary on reports and trends to business management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the business to ensure data quality and address reporting and sales data queries.
  • Drive change within the business to support overall strategies and develop methods to track performance.
  • Prepare and consolidate sales budgets and forecasts.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) and Power BI bespoke reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based Finance and CRM Systems.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience interpreting sales data.
  • Degree in Finance, Business, or Accountancy.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Mercury, Business Central / NAV / D365, Jet Reports, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • 2+ years' experience working with SQL in a commercial environment.
  • Experience working with customer data or sales data.
