We are now creating a joint sales and digital development role to accelerate growth in both businesses.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and target-driven
Sales & Digital Development Executive
to help grow sales of both fencing products and modular machine guarding systems. This is a new role, working part of the week with Procter Fencing Supplies and part with Procter Machine Safety.
This is a new role, combining
office-based business development
with
digital sales and occasional customer visits
. You will be responsible for building new pipelines, re-engaging lapsed accounts, and driving growth through digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across both divisions.
Make outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to generate leads and win work.
Re-engage lapsed customers and build strong relationships with trade and manufacturing clients.
Manage and support digital marketing campaigns (AdWords, Shopify optimisation, Marketplace listings, targeted email outreach).
Visit potential customers to present products and build long-term relationships.
Work closely with technical teams to deliver accurate quotations and tailored solutions.
Meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
About You
Proven B2B sales experience (ideally in construction, trade supplies, engineering, or industrial products).
Confident in both telephone and face-to-face sales.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your own pipeline.
Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools (Shopify, AdWords, email platforms) desirable.
Full UK driving licence essential.
