We're seeking a dynamic and commercially astute

Sales & Education Area Manager

to lead retail performance, operational excellence, and team development across a defined area. Reporting directly to the Retail Director, this role is accountable for the financial and operational success of their area ensuring each location delivers against its KPIs, embodies the brand's values, and delivers an exceptional client experience.

You'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on field engagement, driving growth while cultivating a culture of accountability, learning, and service excellence. Acting as the bridge between the Retail Director and onsite leadership, you'll provide direction, coaching, and operational support to Retail Store Managers and accounts ensuring commercial strategy is translated into actionable, high-impact results across your area.

With a focus on people, performance, and brand storytelling, you'll shape the future of the retail network -- balancing commercial insight with human leadership to deliver sustained growth and long-term brand equity.

What Will You Do?





Commercial Leadership



Own and deliver all sales and KPI targets across retail sites within your area. Execute commercial strategy aligned with company objectives, ensuring consistency in delivery across all locations. Analyse trading reports to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement action plans that drive sustainable growth. Participate in trading and strategy meetings with the Retail Director and cross-functional partners. Ensure all retail locations operate within budgeted payroll and productivity targets, maximising profitability and efficiency. Collaborate with Marketing, Retail Operations, and Visual Merchandising to deliver local activations that drive awareness, traffic, and conversion. Contribute to business development projects, including new store openings, refurbishments, and closures -- leading recruitment, training, and launch execution in collaboration with support functions. Develop strong relationships with accounts and partners within your area

Sales, Service & Education Excellence



Deliver in-field and classroom-based training and coaching programs that elevate sales, service, and brand engagement. Champion education as a commercial driver, ensuring every team member demonstrates exceptional product expertise, storytelling, and service rituals. Lead by example in modelling best-in-class selling behaviours and consumer connection. Partner with the Education team to design and execute tailored learning programs that align with brand priorities and business KPIs. Drive client recruitment, retention, and CRM excellence through a culture of genuine connection and personalised service. Oversee local events, launches, and experiential activations that inspire teams and clients alike.



Team Leadership & Development



Lead, coach, and inspire Retail Store Managers and their teams to achieve commercial and operational objectives. Conduct structured, purpose-driven field visits focused on performance analysis, service quality, and talent development. Deliver clear, consistent communication on business priorities and expectations. Build a high-performing culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and empowerment. Partner with HR to manage recruitment, succession planning, and employee development across the area. Conduct regular performance reviews and set measurable goals with clear action plans. Champion company values, ensuring that behaviours, communication, and culture align with the brand's philosophy.



Operational & Brand Standards



Ensure operational excellence across all boutiques and accounts, maintaining compliance, efficiency, and consistency in execution. Guarantee all operational and visual merchandising standards reflect the brand's aesthetic, design ethos, and storytelling. Monitor inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, and cash control to ensure operational precision. Drive continuous improvement through proactive evaluation of current retail practices and identification of new opportunities. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, HR, and legal standards, working closely with relevant departments. Oversee payroll management across the area, ensuring alignment with budget and productivity objectives. Participate in the testing and rollout of new retail operations initiatives and technology to drive innovation and efficiency.



Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting



Partner with HR, Training, Marketing, Key Partners, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless delivery of business objectives. Prepare and present area performance reports and insights to the Retail Director, highlighting achievements and action plans. Provide input and recommendations during strategic and business review meetings. Act as a key liaison between field teams and head office, ensuring alignment, clarity, and support. Collaborate cross-channel to enhance the integration of retail, digital, and wholesale experiences.



Brand & Consumer Engagement



Act as a senior brand ambassador across your area and retail as a whole, embodying our Maison's heritage, values, and aesthetic. Champion exceptional client experience at every touchpoint, ensuring teams deliver with authenticity and expertise. Lead the execution of brand initiatives, local events, and partnerships that amplify awareness and client loyalty. Continuously analyse consumer feedback and competitor insights to refine strategies and improve brand performance.

Minimum 5 years' retail leadership experience, with proven success managing multi-site or retail operations Strong experience delivering financial targets and business KPIs. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations. Experience delivering field-based coaching and education programs that drive measurable sales improvement. Sound understanding of HR processes, recruitment, payroll, and Health & Safety compliance. Exceptional communication, influencing, and analytical skills. Strong organisational abilities, able to balance strategic thinking with operational execution. Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and work flexibly to meet business needs.
