Overview


We are seeking a proactive and organised Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of various events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the dynamic environment of event management, ensuring smooth operations and memorable experiences for attendees. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, eager to assist in delivering high-quality events across diverse settings.

Duties



Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and client presentations. Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and tracking reports. Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally through phone, email, or in person. Support lead generation activities, including market research and prospect outreach. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products/services. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with departmental documentation. Maintain office supplies related to sales and event operations. Provide excellent customer support before, during, and after events. Assist in maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers Assist with marketing tasks such as social media posts, promotional emails, and event announcements. Coordinate production of promotional materials with the marketing team. Help monitor event and sales performance metrics. Gather feedback from clients and participants to support continuous improvement.

Requirements



Previous experience in event support or customer service is advantageous but not essential Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required Proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work well within a team environment and independently when necessary Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar programmes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,397.00-39,011.41 per year
