We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
Assist with the planning and set-up of events, including venue preparation and logistics coordination
Support the registration process, including attendee check-in and distribution of materials
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely delivery of event components
Manage on-the-day operations, addressing any issues promptly to ensure seamless event execution
Provide excellent customer service to attendees, guests, and clients throughout the event
Support post-event activities such as feedback collection, breakdown, and clean-up
Maintain organised records of event details, schedules, and communications
Experience
Previous experience in event assistance or customer service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with various aspects of event management
A positive attitude with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
