We are seeking a Sales & Events Coordinator to join our sales team, based at the Brig o Doon House Hotel but may involve occasional travel to other venues so a driving licence is essential. This role is responsible for converting event enquiries into bookings whilst maximising event sales and associated revenue streams.
You will be responsible for:
Bookings and event reservations
Attending internal and external sales events to promote your hotel and the wider RAD Hotel Group portfolio of hotels and services
Arranging and conducting sales meetings and show rounds with the wedding party and event organisers
Inbound and outbound calls dealing with new and existing events bookings
You will need to:
Be flexible, as the the role will involve some evening and weekend working
Be well-organised, professionally presented, engaging, articulate and have good attention to detail
Have a pleasant telephone and speaking manner
Have a strong interest in sales; maximising revenue through room rates management, bedroom inventory, restaurant and afternoon tea reservations, wedding and events bookings and room allocations
