Who are we?


Minerva Brands are a cosmetics and personal care manufacturer based in Burnley. We manufacture a wide range of cosmetics products from simple shower gels to complex skincare for brands in the UK and overseas. We're growing, and are looking for people to join us in our journey.

From our site in Burnley, we make tens of thousands of skincare, haircare, personal care, face care and more for brands in the likes of Harvey Nichols, Superdrug, Boots, John Lewis and more. We also operate a second site where we run 3PL and fulfilment services for brands too.

Job Overview


We're looking for someone with a Sales / Account Manager / Business Development background, with a drive for achieving results, bringing on new customers and developing existing accounts.

You don't need experience within cosmetics or personal care, we can provide training and help to bring you up to speed, but a passion for providing a good service, ability to build on existing relationships and forge new relationships is essential. A knowledge of beauty and cosmetics products, maybe a regular user of skincare etc, and an eye on trends would be great but again, not essential.

The role comes with a basic salary, and an uncapped commission / bonus structure for achieving sales targets with an OTE of 40,000+

Duties



Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold and warm outreach (Calling, Email, Social Media, Networking) Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. Prepare and deliver costings and quotations to customers based on product brief Work with our inhouse technical team to produce lab samples and new formulations for customers Utilise our inhouse ERP software (Odoo) to create, track and progress new leads, customers, jobs and projects Provide feedback on product development based on customer insights and market demands. Source quotes from supply chain to help customers get the right product for their business Achieve targets set by the business (targets dependent on experience)

Qualifications



Proven experience in a sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Knowledge of Cosmetics and Personal care industry is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of marketing tools like Canva, Adobe, Mailchimp etc would be advantageous but not essential Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Driving license and access to own vehicle would be advantageous (Some travel and occasional overnight stays are required)

What we're offering?



A base salary of 28,000 - 30,000 Uncapped Commission / Bonus Structure with an OTE of 40,000+ Training and Support to perform your role Pension Working flexibility (some Work from Home)
