We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. Based at the DIY Kitchens Stadium. You will be responsible for generating new commercial revenue for Wakefield Trinity through proactive outreach, cold calling, digital prospecting, and structured lead-generation campaigns. This is primarily an office-based role and focuses on selling across sponsorships, hospitality, events & conferencing, and ticketing-related upgrades. The position also supports matchday commercial operations, club led events and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities



Proactive Sales & Outreach



Deliver high-volume outreach to businesses Run targeted outbound email and LinkedIn campaigns using CRM and marketing tools Build strong prospect lists for all commercial and events-related products. Qualify and convert inbound enquiries.

Sales & Account Management



Create tailored proposals and convert opportunities into revenue. Support existing commercial partners with day-to-day management when required. Work cross-departmentally to ensure smooth delivery of packages and events. Support planning and selling of club-led events (e.g. awards dinners, themed nights).

Matchday Responsibilities (All 13 Home Matches)



Assist with the management and hosting of commercial partners, sponsors, and hospitality clients. Oversee operational elements including sponsor activations, hospitality areas, and logistics. Ensure an exceptional matchday experience for all corporate guests.

Administration & Reporting



Maintain accurate CRM notes, pipelines, and activity logs. Produce weekly updates and revenue forecasting. Support the Commercial Manager with proposal templates, pricing data, and presentations.

Skills & Experience Required



Experience in a sales environment with confidence in outbound sales. Excellent digital communication skills and ability to generate revenue through outreach. Highly organised, able to manage multiple pipelines and deadlines. Strong relationship-building skills and customer service mindset. Passion for sport and/or events is desirable.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
