ABOUT THE ROLE:



We're looking for a highly driven

Enterprise SaaS Sales Executive

with experience in

energy analytics

to join our remote team. This role focuses on selling our advanced

SaaS-based analytics platform

for energy markets - especially in the

electric power sector -

to clients like utilities, financial institutions, and energy trading companies.



RESPONSIBILITIES:


Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas for io's suite of analytic solutions. Prospect and generate new leads within the target market (energy companies, utilities, financial institutions, ) in the Upper Midwest USA and Canada. Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand client needs and demonstrate how io's solutions can address their challenges and create value. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and hand-off to the customer success Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships based on trust and mutual Collaborate closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and io's product roadmap. Accurately forecast sales opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline in CRM. Represent io at industry conferences and events as required.




QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related 5+ years of proven experience in software/SaaS solution selling, with a strong emphasis on complex enterprise sales cycles.

years

of

experience

in

energy

analytics,

preferably

within

the

electric

power

sector, is highly

Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts and their business value to diverse Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal Strong negotiation and closing Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently1in a remote Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

Preferred Skills s Experience:


Familiarity with financial modeling, risk management, and portfolio optimization concepts in the energy Understanding of power markets, renewable energy, and commodity Experience selling to electric utilities, independent power producers, and energy trading
