Summary of the role & who we're looking for





Working in the world of care, we're dedicated to collaborating with our customers to provide care home products, consumables and furniture. Are you passionate and eager to see growth within a geographical territory? We're looking to recruit a permanent, full time individual who is able to retain and grow existing business and deliver exceptional service.



Developing and executing plans will be a key part of the role if retention and sales growth is to be developed in line with the company's targets, and for the company to become the preferred supplier of choice to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar sales role previously, ideally selling within the care sector, and be able to demonstrate commercial awareness, positivity, and have excellent communication skills.





This role will require effective and proactive management and prioritisation of day-to-day tasks if business targets are to be achieved. It will require a willingness to learn and develop new skills, a readiness to adapt to varying environments and people, and the ability to cope with different responsibilities, all whilst maintaining full effectiveness in the role.

Main responsibilities:




Create and implement a territory strategy focused on retaining existing clients and identifying growth opportunities. Represent Blueleaf's product portfolio and brands with professionalism and integrity. Build strong customer relationships by delivering outstanding service and support. Deliver compelling sales presentations that clearly communicate Blueleaf's value proposition and drive new business within the existing customer base. Provide well-structured written proposals that include both financial details and added value for the customer. Ensure consistent reporting and maximise the use of CRM tools for tracking and insights. Collaborate effectively with Business Development Managers to secure new accounts, engaging multiple stakeholders within target organisations. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism in all internal and external interactions. Develop deep product knowledge across Blueleaf's portfolio to become a trusted advisor to customers. Expand industry insight through active networking and engagement.



Skills & Experience




Trained in Consultative Selling Skills at a minimum intermediate level. 5 years' experience selling in the Care Sector, ideally with an understanding of furniture and equipment for the social care sector. Strong knowledge of Key Account Management. Commercial awareness, with a business attitude and business sense that is reflected in every decision and action. A positive attitude and mindset, working well as part of a team and being an excellent team player, exuding positivity even through tough times. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to gather and analyse information. Strong decision making and problem solving skills, and be able to ask powerful questions to obtain key information to provide bespoke solutions.

Location





We are looking for someone based in London, Surrey, Berkshire or the Southeast. You would work from your home address when carrying out administrative tasks and would be required to travel to our head office in Crawley on a monthly basis or as required.
