Apollo Engineering are specialists in manufacturing equipment (predominantly) for the food industry from the design stage to installation. Summary

We are looking for a key account relationship professional with food industry experience and an Engineering/Design/Fabrication background. Can you confidentially understand technical specifications? Do you enjoy maintaining strong customer relationships?

The suitable candidate will need to be organised, have good technical knowledge and should be able to demonstrate solutions to our customers' production challenges. The role is typically both office and customer sites, where you will travel to meet with your clients, understand their needs, technically advise and build up your relationship with them whilst seeking out new business opportunities.

You will assist with new customer development - Monitoring and chasing enquiries and outstanding quotations- Costing, pricing and proposals development, following these projects through the manufacturing stages at key points to successful completion.

You must have either Sales experience in the food industry or engineering experience

This role would suit an experienced engineer who wants to come off the tools.

Excellent face-to-face and telephone skills. Proficient IT skills, ideally using Microsoft Office software. Innovative and creative problem solver Enthusiastic and positive. Team player. Experienced Engineer. Highly organised, essential, flexible, with great attention to detail. Completing costing sheets and estimates. Conducting site surveys and scoping out for installations.
