The Sales Ledger Clerk is responsible for the accurate processing and maintenance of the sales ledger, ensuring efficient financial reporting, reconciliation, and timely revenue recognition. This role plays an important part in supporting the month-end process, assisting with owner statements, and producing key reports. Proficiency in
Excel
is essential, and
Elite Dynamics
software is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Ledger & Income Processing
Accurately raise and process sales invoices through
Elite Dynamics
.
Process monthly letting income and miscellaneous income streams.
Manage and reconcile customer payments.
Produce and issue monthly sublet statements
Process and post all income from residential and holiday home sales.
Reconciliations & Reporting
Conduct monthly reconciliation of selected balance sheet accounts, including:
Accruals
Prepayments
Stock
Deposits
Assist in the monthly close process and support preparation of financial statements.
Produce weekly reports for management summarising key financial data and KPIs.
General Finance Support
Assist with external and internal audits by providing relevant documentation and reconciliations.
Support wider finance team with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience in a Sales Ledger or similar accounting/finance role.
Proficiency with
Elite Dynamics
software or similar finance platform
Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet monthly deadlines.
Confident communicator with the ability to deal with internal teams and external stakeholders.
