The Sofa Shop is home to the UK's largest Smart Sofa showroom, specialising in cinema sofas, recliners, beds, and innovative furniture.

We're fast-growing, energetic, and creative -- and now we're looking for a

Sales & Live Commerce Executive

who can generate real income across multiple platforms, drive daily engagement, and help scale our sales to the next level.

Your Mission

To

sell -- online, in-store, and live

.
You'll be responsible for turning interest into revenue through in-person sales, social media, live-streaming sessions, and digital selling tools. This role blends

traditional retail skills

with

modern online marketing and content creation

-- perfect for someone confident, results-driven, and social-media savvy.

Key Responsibilities

Showroom & In-Person Sales



Welcome customers, understand their needs, and close sales confidently Hit and exceed daily and monthly sales targets Manage showroom enquiries, follow up on warm leads, and secure deposits

Live Selling & Social Media Growth



Host

daily LIVE sessions

on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Engage audiences, answer questions in real time, and create excitement around products Plan and execute live-stream schedules with creative presentation and product demos Collaborate with the marketing team on visuals, offers, and content ideas

Online Selling & Lead Conversion



Manage and respond to inbound leads from social media, web chat, and email Use CRM tools to track conversations and follow-ups Upsell, cross-sell, and turn every enquiry into an opportunity Create listings and product updates that maximise visibility and conversions

Reporting & Targets



Track daily sales and live performance metrics Report conversion rates, live engagement, and revenue generated Provide feedback on what products, promotions, and formats perform best

Collaboration



Work with content creators, warehouse, and marketing teams to ensure promotions run smoothly Help plan product features for live sessions and social campaigns Support creative direction for new product launches
Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in sales, retail, or live selling (e.g., TikTok Shop, Instagram Live, etc.) Confident, persuasive communicator -- comfortable speaking on camera and in person Results-driven with a natural hunger for closing deals Strong understanding of social media, engagement, and audience building Organised and proactive -- always planning the next opportunity to sell Tech-savvy and able to use CRM, Shopify, or online selling platforms Positive, energetic personality with excellent customer service instincts
Package

Salary:

30K - 33K (DOE)

Holidays:

20 days + Bank Holidays (rising by 1 per year after 2 years, capped at 25)
