We are currently looking for a

Sales & Marketing Coordinator

to join our Sales team in Longtown.

We are looking for a well organised, motivated individual who will play a central role in supporting both the sales and marketing functions, acting as the key contact for all marketing requests across the business. You will work closely with external marketing partners and internal teams, helping promote Wm Armstrong's services through effective digital, PR, advertising, and social media campaigns, as well as providing administrative and reporting support to the Sales Team, helping to align sales activity with strategic objectives and customer engagement plans.

The hours for this role will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday working between the hours of 08:00 - 16:30.

Marketing Coordination Branding, Digital, and Communication Management Sales Support and Reporting Sales and Customer Engagement Coordination Continuous Improvement and Market Awareness Mailbox Management - Within SLA Database Management and Accuracy Clear and Concise Notes on All Customer Contact

Requirements



Experience

Proven experience in marketing coordination, sales support, or a communications-related role. Experience liaising with external marketing or creative agencies. Experience in the transport or haulage industry preferred but not essential.
Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Confidence in managing multiple requests and priorities Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools (especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams) Experience using CRM, social media management, or marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva) Strong attention to detail and brand consistency Knowledge of freight, haulage, or logistics industry (preferred but not essential)
Education and Qualifications

GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths essential. NVQ (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline preferred. Further education (A-levels, BTEC, etc.) preferred.
