With over 40 years' experience in this sector, we work across the UK installing recycling systems to high-rise residential blocks and linen chute systems within all major hotels, once out of warranty we complete the maintenance of these systems to ensure they remain reliable and fire compliant to relevant health and safety standard.

We are looking for an aspirational individual to join our Sales and Marketing team as an apprentice. The successful candidate will participate in the Sales Executive Apprenticeship Programme and work in a supported learning environment to develop advanced professional skills, knowledge, behaviours, and work experience in the relevant areas. Although this a junior role, there is a strong focus on fast learning and progression. You must be confident communicator as you will interact with internal and external customers. You also must be strongly academically minded in order to complete the academic side of the apprenticeship.

Key Areas of Learning/ Responsibilities



Work confidently as a team member. Plan activities and see them through effectively and efficiently. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments. Analyse the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Follows up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with the product. Produce quotations to send out to new and existing customers.

Key Requirements



Level 2 in English and Math (GCSE or equivalent Grades A*-C/9-4 in Math's and English essential.

Good telephone manner Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates a "can do" attitude. Self-motivated. Willingness to multi-skill and be flexible based on the needs and demands of the business. Great attention to detail. Innovative thinker. Organised and calm under pressure. Friendly, approachable, and flexible - a team player. Professional with a desire to continually improve. Good communication skills for meeting and liaising with clients.
Having the right attitude, work ethic and commitment to your education as well as to your employment are essential requirements to this role.

Training:



You will undertake the Sales Executive Apprenticeship programme. (Level 4). This programme will include assessment in Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours, Functional Skills in Math's and English (where applicable) and completion of your End Point Assessment.

During your time on the apprenticeship programme, you will also be expected to complete and document 20% off-job-training. The apprenticeship will be delivered in association with Bedfordshire College Group. Dedicated Workplace trainer/ assessor will be in regular contact with you. You will be assigned a supervisor/mentor within the workplace, who will support you to develop your workplace skills, knowledge, and behaviours throughout the duration of your apprenticeship programme.

The duration of the apprenticeship is typically 18 months.
